Claims

Abstract

An optical image capturing lenses includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a front lens group, a stop, and a rear lens group. The front lens group includes, in order from the object side to the image side, at least a first lens element and a second lens element. The first lens element has a convex object-side surface and a concave image-side surface. The rear lens group includes, in order from the object side to the image side, at least a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element, and a sixth lens element. The sixth lens element is made of plastic material. The object-side surface and the image-side surface of the sixth lens are aspheric. The sixth lens element has at least one inflection point formed on at least one of the object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. An optical image capturing lenses comprising six lens elements, the six lens elements being, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element and a sixth lens element; 
 wherein each of the six lens elements comprises an object-side surface facing towards the object side and an image-side surface facing towards the image side; 
 wherein the first lens element has negative refractive power; the second lens element has negative refractive power; the fifth lens element has negative refractive power; the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, concave in a paraxial region thereof, and comprising at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; a total number of the lens elements in the optical image capturing lenses is six; and there is an air gap between each of adjacent lens elements of the six lens elements. 
 
     
     
       2. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein the sixth lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       3. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 2 , wherein the third lens element has positive refractive power. 
     
     
       4. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 3 , wherein the fourth lens element has positive refractive power, and the first lens element and the sixth lens element are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       5. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein the fourth lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof and the image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       6. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein the fifth lens element has the image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, and at least three of the six lens elements are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       7. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein a focal length of the optical image capturing lenses is f, a focal length of the first lens element is f1, and the following relationship is satisfied:
   −0.6<f/f1<0.3.
 
 
     
     
       8. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein a central thickness of the fourth lens element is greater than a central thickness of the second lens element. 
     
     
       9. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein an axial distance between the first lens element and the second lens element is a maximum among all axial distances between adjacent lens elements of the six lens elements. 
     
     
       10. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein an axial distance between the first lens element and the second lens element is greater than a central thickness of the first lens element. 
     
     
       11. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 1 , wherein an absolute value of a curvature radius of the object-side surface of the fifth lens element is greater than an absolute value of a curvature radius of the image-side surface of the fifth lens element. 
     
     
       12. An optical image capturing lenses comprising six lens elements, the six lens elements being, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element and a sixth lens element; 
 wherein each of the six lens elements comprises an object-side surface facing towards the object side and an image-side surface facing towards the image side; 
 wherein the first lens element has negative refractive power; the fourth lens element has positive refractive power; the fifth lens element has negative refractive power; the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, concave in a paraxial region thereof, and comprising at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; a total number of the lens elements in the optical image capturing lenses is six; and a central thickness of the fourth lens element is greater than a central thickness of the second lens element. 
 
     
     
       13. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 12 , wherein the first lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof and the image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       14. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 12 , wherein the third lens element has positive refractive power, and there is an air gap between each of adjacent lens elements of the six lens elements. 
     
     
       15. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 12 , wherein a central thickness of the fourth lens element is greater than an axial distance between the third lens element and the fourth lens element. 
     
     
       16. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 12 , wherein an axial distance between the first lens element and the second lens element is greater than an axial distance between the third lens element and the fourth lens element. 
     
     
       17. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 12 , wherein a curvature radius of the object-side surface of the second lens element and a curvature radius of the image-side surface of the second lens element have the same sign. 
     
     
       18. An optical image capturing lenses comprising six lens elements, the six lens elements being, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element and a sixth lens element; 
 wherein each of the six lens elements comprises an object-side surface facing towards the object side and an image-side surface facing towards the image side; 
 wherein the fourth lens element with positive refractive power has the image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof; the fifth lens element has negative refractive power; the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, concave in a paraxial region thereof, and comprising at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; a total number of the lens elements in the optical image capturing lenses is six; and an axial distance between the first lens element and the second lens element is a maximum among all axial distances between adjacent lens elements of the six lens elements. 
 
     
     
       19. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 18 , wherein the first lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof and the image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       20. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 18 , wherein the third lens element has positive refractive power, and the first lens element and the sixth lens element are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       21. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 18 , wherein the sixth lens element with positive refractive power has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       22. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 18 , wherein the third lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof, and at least three of the six lens elements are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       23. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 18 , wherein a focal length of the optical image capturing lenses is f, a focal length of the first lens element is f1, and the following relationship is satisfied:
   −0.6<f/f1<0.3.
 
 
     
     
       24. An optical image capturing lenses comprising six lens elements, the six lens elements being, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element and a sixth lens element; 
 wherein each of the six lens elements comprises an object-side surface facing towards the object side and an image-side surface facing towards the image side; 
 wherein the fourth lens element has positive refractive power; the fifth lens element has negative refractive power; the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, concave in a paraxial region thereof, and comprising at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; a total number of the lens elements in the optical image capturing lenses is six; a central thickness of the fourth lens element is greater than a central thickness of the second lens element; and an absolute value of a focal length of the first lens element is greater than an absolute value of a focal length of the fourth lens element. 
 
     
     
       25. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein the second lens element has negative refractive power, and at least three of the six lens elements are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       26. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein the sixth lens element with positive refractive power has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       27. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein the fourth lens element has the object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof and the image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof, and the first lens element, the second lens element and the third lens element are made of plastic material. 
     
     
       28. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein the fifth lens element has the image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       29. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein at least one of the object-side surface and the image-side surface of each of the first lens element, the second lens element and the third lens element is aspheric; and
 the optical image capturing lenses further comprises an aperture stop disposed on an image side of the second lens element. 
 
     
     
       30. The optical image capturing lenses of  claim 24 , wherein an axial distance between the fifth lens element and the sixth lens element is greater than an axial distance between the third lens element and the fourth lens element.
