Abstract
A wireless device receives, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message comprising a first logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a first logical channel in an RRC connected state. The wireless device receives, from the base station, an RRC release message comprising a second logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a second logical channel in an RRC inactive state or an RRC idle state, wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed configured grant list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to a configured grant configuration, of a configured grant, for transmission in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state. The wireless device transmits, while in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state, to the base station, the data of the second logical channel.

1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message comprising a first logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a first logical channel in an RRC connected state;
receiving, by the wireless device from the base station, an RRC release message comprising a second logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a second logical channel in an RRC inactive state or an RRC idle state, wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed configured grant list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to a configured grant configuration, of a configured grant, for transmission in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state; and
transmitting, by the wireless device in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state, to the base station, the data of the second logical channel.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the configured grant configuration is included in the RRC release message.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the allowed configured grant list comprises an index of the configured grant configuration, of the configured grant, as an indication that the second logical channel is allowed to use the configured grant.
4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transitioning, by the wireless device, based on receiving the RRC release message from the base station, to the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state uses a small data transmission procedure.
6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising storing, by the wireless device, the configured grant configuration.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the configured grant configuration comprises at least one of:
a configuration grant configuration index of the configured grant configuration;
a configured grant of the configured grant configuration;
a bandwidth part of the configured grant configuration;
a serving cell of the configured grant configuration; and
a synchronization signal block (SSB) of the configured grant configuration.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed subcarrier spacing (SCS) list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to one or more SCSs.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed physical layer (PHY) priority index indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to one or more dynamic grants indicating one or more PHY priorities.
10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises a maximum physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) duration indicating that the data is mapped to uplink grants of a PUSCH duration shorter than or equal to the maximum PUSCH duration.
11. A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message comprising a first logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a first logical channel in an RRC connected state;
receive, from the base station, an RRC release message comprising a second logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a second logical channel in an RRC inactive state or an RRC idle state, wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed configured grant list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to a configured grant configuration, of a configured grant, for transmission in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state; and
transmit, while in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state, to the base station, the data of the second logical channel.
12. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the configured grant configuration is included in the RRC release message.
13. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the allowed configured grant list comprises an index of the configured grant configuration, of the configured grant, as an indication that the second logical channel is allowed to use the configured grant.
14. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to transition, based on receiving the RRC release message from the base station, to the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state.
15. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the transmitting in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state uses a small data transmission procedure.
16. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to store the configured grant configuration.
17. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the configured grant configuration comprises at least one of:
a configuration grant configuration index of the configured grant configuration;
a configured grant of the configured grant configuration;
a bandwidth part of the configured grant configuration;
a serving cell of the configured grant configuration; and
a synchronization signal block (SSB) of the configured grant configuration.
18. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed subcarrier spacing (SCS) list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to one or more SCSs.
19. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed physical layer (PHY) priority index indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to one or more dynamic grants indicating one or more PHY priorities.
20. A system comprising:
a base station comprising: one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
transmit, to a wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message comprising a first logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a first logical channel in an RRC connected state;
transmit, to the wireless device, an RRC release message comprising a second logical channel configuration for transmission of data of a second logical channel in an RRC inactive state or an RRC idle state, wherein the second logical channel configuration comprises an allowed configured grant list indicating that the data of the second logical channel is mapped to a configured grant configuration, of a configured grant, for transmission in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state; and
receive, from the wireless device in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state, the data of the second logical channel; and
the wireless device, wherein the wireless device comprises: one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive, from the base station, the RRC reconfiguration message;
receive, from the base station, the RRC release message; and
