Abstract
A wireless device receives first configuration parameter(s) indicating that a first search space and a second search space are used together for reception of DCI and a second configuration parameter indicating a value of a DRX timer. The wireless device receives first DCI based on: monitoring in a CORESET based on the first search space and in first symbol(s), and monitoring in a CORESET based on the second search space and in second symbol(s) that are after the first symbol(s). The wireless device may start the DRX timer with the value in a third symbol that is after the second symbol(s).

1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device from a base station:
at least one first configuration parameter indicating that a first search space and a second search space are used together for reception of downlink control information; and
a second configuration parameter indicating a value of a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer;
receiving, from a base station, first downlink control information based on:
monitoring in a control resource set (CORESET) based on the first search space and in one or more first symbols; and
monitoring in a CORESET based on the second search space and in one or more second symbols that are after the one or more first symbols; and
starting the DRX timer with the value in a third symbol that is after the one or more second symbols.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein:
the first search space is associated with a first CORESET; and
the second search space is associated with a second CORESET.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the DRX timer is a DRX inactivity timer.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the wireless device is in a DRX Active time while the DRX inactivity timer is running.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first search space and the second search space are wireless device specific search spaces.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first search space and the second search space are common search spaces.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a parameter in first configuration parameters of the first search space has the same value as a corresponding parameter in second configuration parameters of the second search space.
8. A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive, from a base station:
at least one first configuration parameter indicating that a first search space and a second search space are used together for reception of downlink control information; and
a second configuration parameter indicating a value of a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer;
receive, from a base station, first downlink control information based on:
monitoring in a control resource set (CORESET) based on the first search space and in one or more first symbols; and
monitoring in a CORESET based on the second search space and in one or more second symbols that are after the one or more first symbols; and
start the DRX timer with the value in a third symbol that is after the one or more second symbols.
9. The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein:
the first search space is associated with a first CORESET; and
the second search space is associated with a second CORESET.
10. The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the DRX timer is a DRX inactivity timer.
11. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the wireless device is in a DRX Active time while the DRX inactivity timer is running.
12. The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the first search space and the second search space are wireless device specific search spaces.
13. The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the first search space and the second search space are common search spaces.
14. The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein a parameter in first configuration parameters of the first search space has the same value as a corresponding parameter in second configuration parameters of the second search space.
15. A system comprising:
a base station; and
a wireless device comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to: receive, from the base station: at least one first configuration parameter indicating that a first search space and a second search space are used together for reception of downlink control information; and a second configuration parameter indicating a value of a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer; receive first downlink control information based on: monitoring in a control resource set (CORESET) based on the first search space and in one or more first symbols; and monitoring in a CORESET based on the second search space and in one or more second symbols that are after the one or more first symbols; and start the DRX timer with the value in a third symbol that is after the one or more second symbols.
16. The system of claim 15 , wherein:
the first search space is associated with a first CORESET; and
the second search space is associated with a second CORESET.
17. The system of claim 15 , wherein the DRX timer is a DRX inactivity timer.
18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the wireless device is in a DRX Active time while the DRX inactivity timer is running.
19. The system of claim 15 , wherein the first search space and the second search space are wireless device specific search spaces.
