Abstract

A zinc-deposited hydrotalcite for a PVC stabilizer includes: a hydrotalcite having a structure represented by the formula of Mg 4 Al 2 (OH) 12 CO 3 .3 H 2 O; and zinc deposited onto the hydrotacite crystals by using any one method of electrode-position, chloride ion deposition, and plasma deposition.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
The invention claimed is:

       1. A zinc-deposited hydrotalcite for a stabilizer, comprising:
 a hydrotalcite having a structure represented by the formula of Mg 4 Al 2 (OH) 12 CO 3 .3H 2 O;
 calcium in conjunction with zinc (Zn) deposited on the hydrotalcite, wherein a weight percentage of calcium is 0.84%; and
 a coating of 2.5% stearic acid on the hydrotalcite, the calcium and the zinc.

       2. A stabilizer, comprising the zinc-deposited hydrotalcite of claim 1 as an additive or antibacterial agent.

       3. A resin, comprising:
 a stabilizer, comprising:
 a hydrotalcite having a structure represented by the formula of Mg 4 Al 2 (OH) 12 CO 3 .3H 2 O;
 calcium in conjunction with zinc deposited on the hydrotalcite, wherein a weight percentage of calcium is 0.84%; and
 a coating of 2.5% of stearic acid on the hydrotalcite, the calcium and the zinc; and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

       4. The resin according to claim 3 , wherein the resin further comprises zinc stearate or calcium stearate.

       5. A product, comprising the resin of claim 3 .

       6. The product of claim 5 , being one of pipes, window frames and sheets.
