Light emitting device
Abstract
A light emitting device includes a flexible substrate, at least one light emitting element, a sealing resin, an adhesion layer and a support member. The flexible substrate includes a flexible base member and a plurality of wiring portions disposed on one surface of the base member. At least one light emitting element is arranged on a first surface of the flexible substrate and electrically connected to the wiring portions. The sealing resin seals the at least one light emitting element. The adhesion layer and the support member are arranged in this order on a second surface of the flexible substrate different from the first surface of the flexible substrate. The support member has a recess in a region corresponding at least to a region on the first surface where the at least one light emitting element is arranged.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. A light emitting device comprising:
a flexible substrate including a flexible base member and a plurality of wiring portions disposed on one surface of the base member;
at least one light emitting element arranged on a first surface of the flexible substrate and electrically connected to the wiring portions;
a sealing resin sealing the at least one light emitting element; and
an adhesion layer and a support member arranged in this order on a second surface of the flexible substrate different from the first surface of the flexible substrate, the support member having a recess in a region corresponding at least to a region on the first surface where the at least one light emitting element is arranged.
2. The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
the recess of the support member defines an air layer arranged directly under the region on the first surface where the at least one light emitting element is arranged.
3. The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
the support member is an aluminum substrate.
4. The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
the flexible base member has an elongated shape, and
the wiring portions are arranged with a length of ⅓ to 1 of a longitudinal length of the flexible base member.
5. The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
a width of the recess is larger than a width of the at least one light emitting element.
6. The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
a width of the recess is larger than a width of the sealing resin.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
