Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and a device for storing and sending a MAC address entry, and a system. The method includes: sending, by a PE, a first packet to an RR, so that the RR determines a MAC address entry required by the PE according to the first packet, where the RR pre-stores a MAC address table, and the MAC address table includes the required MAC address entry; and receiving, by the PE, a packet which includes the required MAC address entry and is sent by the RR, and storing the required MAC address entry.

         5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first packet comprises an Internet Protocol (IP) address, and the controller determines the MAC address entry according to the first packet by determining a MAC address according to the IP address and determining the MAC address entry according to the MAC address.

         6 . A network node, comprising:
 a processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program executable by the processor to cause the network node to:
 send a first packet to a controller;
 receive a second packet comprising a media access control (MAC) address entry sent by the controller, wherein the MAC address entry is determined by the controller according to the first packet and is stored in an address table in the controller; and
 store the MAC address entry.

         7 . The network node according to claim 6 , wherein the address table comprises all MAC address entries in a virtual private network (VPN).

         8 . The network node according to claim 7 , wherein the MAC address entry comprises a VPN identifier, wherein the VPN identifier indicates the VPN.

         9 . The network node according to claim 6 , wherein the controller comprises a route reflector (RR).

         10 . The network node according to claim 6 , wherein the first packet comprises an Internet Protocol (IP) address, and the controller determines the MAC address entry according to the first packet by determining a MAC address according to the IP address and determining the MAC address entry according to the MAC address.

         11 . A method, comprising:
 sending, by a first network node, a first packet to a controller, the first packet including a media access control (MAC) address entry; receiving, by the controller, the first packet; storing, by the controller, the MAC address entry in an address table in the controller; and sending, by the controller, a second packet to a second network node, wherein the second packet comprises the MAC address entry.

         12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the address table comprises all MAC address entries in a virtual private network (VPN).

         13 . The method according to claim 12 , wherein the MAC address entry comprises a MAC address and a VPN identifier, and the VPN identifier indicates the VPN.

         14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the controller comprises a route reflector (RR).

         15 . A system, comprising:
 a first network node; a second network node; and a controller; wherein the first network node comprises:
 a first processor; and
 a first non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a first program executable by the first processor to cause the first network node to:
 send a first packet to the controller, the first packet including a media access control (MAC) address entry; and

   wherein the controller comprises:
 a second processor; and
 a second non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a second program to be executed by the second processor to cause the controller to:
 receive the first packet;
 store the MAC address entry to an address table in the controller; and
 send a second packet to the second network node, wherein the second packet comprises the MAC address entry.

         16 . The system according to claim 15 , wherein the address table comprises all MAC address entries in a virtual private network (VPN).

         17 . The system according to claim 16 , wherein the MAC address entry comprises a MAC address and a VPN identifier, wherein the VPN identifier indicates the VPN.

         18 . The system according to claim 15 , wherein the controller comprises a route reflector (RR).

         19 . A controller comprising:
