Abstract
A process for separating water from pyrolysis gasoline obtained from a steam cracking step uses a coalescer for the water separation. And a device comprises a coalescer for water separation from pyrolysis gasoline.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 16 . (canceled)
17 . A device comprising at least one coalescer, which is made of metal, fibre glass or a combination of metal and fibre glass, a water separation unit and at least one hydrogenation unit.
18 . The device according to claim 17 , wherein the water separation unit is connected to the coalescer (A) and the coalescer (A) is connected to a first hydrogenation unit, which in turn is connected with the coalescer (B) followed by a second hydrogenation unit, wherein the coalescer (A) or the coalescer (B) is made of metal, fibre glass or a combination of metal and fibre glass.
19 . A method for the separation of water from pyrolysis gasoline which comprises employing the device according to claim 17 to separate water from pyrolysis gasoline.
20 . The method according to claim 19 , wherein the coalescer is made of metal.
21 . The device according to claim 18 , wherein said coalescer (B) comprises a coalescence filter cartridge, a coalescence filter or a coalescence tube.
22 . The device according to claim 18 , wherein said water separation unit is a settler, a vessel or column with fillings or packings, a mesh, a centrifuge, a separator or a membrane.
23 . The device according to claim 18 , wherein said hydrogenation unit is a pressure resistant reactor.Cited by (0)
