Abstract
A hot clamping method includes: blanking to cut a material; cold-working to cool down the cut material to produce a product having a shape of a completed product; heating the cooled product in a heating furnace; and clamping cooling to set the heated product in a clamp to clamp it so that it is in contact with the clamp to be cooled down.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A hot clamping method, comprising:
blanking to cut a material; cold-working the cut material so as to cool down the cut material to produce a product having a shape of a completed product; heating the cooled product in a heating furnace; and clamping cooling to set the heated product in a clamp to clamp it so that it is in contact with the clamp to be cooled down.
2 . The hot clamping method according to claim 1 , wherein the cold-working includes:
drawing the material; trimming or piercing the drawn material; re-striking the trimmed or pierced material; and trimming or piercing the re-struck material.
3 . The hot clamping method according to claim 2 , wherein in the cold-working, the product is reduced taking into account a resulting shape of the product.
4 . The hot clamping method according to claim 1 , wherein in the cold-working, the product is reduced taking into account a resulting shape of the product.
5 . The hot clamping method according to claim 1 , wherein in the clamping cooling, a surface of the clamp in contact with the product conforms to a resulting shape of the product.
6 . The hot clamping method according to claim 1 , wherein the clamp in the clamping cooling has a tooling pin attached to the clamp, the tooling pin being inserted into holes formed on the product.
7 . The hot clamping method according to claim 6 , wherein a plurality of the tooling pins are attached and a same number of holes corresponding to the tooling pins are formed on the product clamped by the clamp,
wherein at least one of the plurality of holes formed on the product has a shape conforming to the tooling pins and at least another of the holes has an oval shape.
