Abstract

Described is a pharmaceutical composition comprising (a) a parvovirus and (b) a cytokine, preferably IFN-γ, and the use of said composition for treatment of cancer, e.g., a brain tumor.

1 . A pharmaceutical composition containing a parvovirus and a cytokine, wherein said cytokine is IFN-γ and wherein the parvovirus is H1 (H1-PV) and wherein the cytokine and the parvovirus are separate entities. 
     
     
         2 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein the cytokine and the parvovirus are contained in separate containers. 
     
     
         3 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 2 , wherein the first container contains about 10 8  to 10 9  pfu H1-PV and the second container contains about 10 6  to 10 7  U IFN-γ.
