Abstract
An apparatus for producing a sugar liquid includes a stirring tank for primary hydrolysis; a solid-liquid separation device; a secondary hydrolysis tank or press filtration device for secondary hydrolysis; a solid-liquid separation device(s) for the primary hydrolysate and secondary hydrolysate; and an ultrafiltration membrane device that separates the carbohydrase and the sugar liquid from the primary sugar liquid and/or the secondary sugar liquid.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An apparatus for producing a sugar liquid comprising:
a stirring tank for primary hydrolysis; a solid-liquid separation device; a secondary hydrolysis tank or press filtration device for secondary hydrolysis; a solid-liquid separation device(s) for said primary hydrolysate and secondary hydrolysate; and an ultrafiltration membrane device that separates said carbohydrase and said sugar liquid from said primary sugar liquid and/or said secondary sugar liquid.
2 . An apparatus for producing a sugar liquid comprising:
a reaction vessel for primary hydrolysis; a press filtration device having a warm-water supply tank; a circulation line that circulates the filtrate from said press filtration device to said warm-water supply tank; and an ultrafiltration membrane device that separates said carbohydrase and said sugar liquid from said primary sugar liquid and/or said secondary sugar liquid.
3 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a sugar liquid concentrating device equipped with a reverse osmosis membrane and/or nanofiltration membrane to concentrate said sugar liquid obtained with said ultrafiltration membrane device.
4 . The apparatus according to claim 2 , further comprising a sugar liquid concentrating device equipped with a reverse osmosis membrane and/or nanofiltration membrane to concentrate said sugar liquid obtained with said ultrafiltration membrane device.
5 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said sugar liquid is obtained by using a filamentous fungus-derived cellulose as a carbohydrase to hydrolyze cellulose by a method comprising:
adding said carbohydrase to cellulose to perform primary hydrolysis and then subjecting the primary hydrolysate to solid-liquid separation into a primary sugar liquid and solids; adding water to said solids and performing secondary hydrolysis, followed by subjecting the secondary hydrolysate to solid-liquid separation into a secondary sugar liquid and a residue; and filtering said primary sugar liquid and/or secondary sugar liquid through an ultrafiltration membrane, and recovering said carbohydrase from the feed side and recovering a sugar liquid from the permeate side.
6 . The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein said sugar liquid is obtained by using a filamentous fungus-derived cellulose as a carbohydrase to hydrolyze cellulose by a method comprising:
adding said carbohydrase to cellulose to perform primary hydrolysis and then subjecting the primary hydrolysate to solid-liquid separation into a primary sugar liquid and solids; adding water to said solids and performing secondary hydrolysis, followed by subjecting the secondary hydrolysate to solid-liquid separation into a secondary sugar liquid and a residue; and filtering said primary sugar liquid and/or secondary sugar liquid through an ultrafiltration membrane, and recovering said carbohydrase from the feed side and recovering a sugar liquid from the permeate side.
7 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein:
the stirring tank comprises a filamentous fungus-derived cellulase as a carbohydrase and cellulose; the solid-liquid separation device is adapted to separate a primary hydrolysate into a primary sugar liquid and solids and transfer the solids to a secondary hydrolysis tank or press filtration device for secondary hydrolysis; the secondary hydrolysis tank or press filtration device comprise a water supply line and are adapted to receive the solids of the first solid-liquid separation device and water from the water supply line; the solid-liquid separation device(s) for said primary hydrolysate and secondary hydrolysate is adapted to separate the primary hydrolysate and the secondary hydrolysate into a secondary sugar liquid and solids; and the ultrafiltration membrane device separates said carbohydrase to a feed side and said sugar liquid to a permeate side.
8 . The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein:
the reaction vessel comprises a filamentous fungus-derived cellulase as a carbohydrase and cellulose; the press filtration device is adapted to separate a hydrolysate into a sugar liquid and solids; and the ultrafiltration membrane device separates said carbohydrase to a feed side and said sugar liquid to a permeate side.Cited by (0)
