Abstract

A unit dose product having a non-casted film is provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A unit dose product comprising a non-casted film comprising one or more filament-forming material and one or more active agents 
     
     
         2 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the filament-forming materials is a polymer selected from the group consisting of: polyvinyl alcohol, starch, starch derivatives, cellulose derivatives, hemicellulose, hemicellulose derivatives, proteins, sodium alginate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, chitosan, chitosan derivatives, polyethylene glycol, tetramethylene ether glycol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, hydroxymethyl cellulose, and mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         3 . The unit dose product according to  claim 2  wherein the polymer comprises polyvinyl alcohol. 
     
     
         4 . The unit dose product according to  claim 2  wherein the polymer comprises starch or starch derivative. 
     
     
         5 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the filament-forming materials comprises a polar solvent-soluble polymer. 
     
     
         6 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein the polar solvent-soluble polymer comprises a water-soluble polymer. 
     
     
         7 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein the film further comprises a plasticizer. 
     
     
         8 . The unit dose product according to  claim 7  wherein the plasticizer is selected from the group consisting of: polyethylene glycol, glycerol, sorbitol and mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         9 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein the film is a water-soluble film. 
     
     
         10 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents released when the film is exposed to conditions of intended use. 
     
     
         11 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents is selected from the group consisting of: skin care active agents, beauty benefit active agents, personal care active agents, hair care active agents, fabric care active agents, dishwashing active agents, hard surface active agents, agricultural active agents, ingestible active agents, liquid treatment active agents, industrial active agents, and mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         12 . The unit dose product according to  claim 11  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents comprises one or more fabric care active agents. 
     
     
         13 . The unit dose product according to  claim 11  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents comprises one or more hair care active agents. 
     
     
         14 . The unit dose product according to  claim 11  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents comprises one or more skin care active agents. 
     
     
         15 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents comprises a surfactant. 
     
     
         16 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein at least one of the one or more active agents is selected from the group consisting of: antioxidants, UV agents, dispersants, disintegrants, antimicrobial agents, antibacterial agents, oxidizing agents, reducing agents, handling/release agents, perfume agents, surfactants, bleaching agents, enzymes, builders, chelants, softening agents, dye transfer inhibiting agents, dissolution aids, ingestible active agents, color agents, and mixtures thereof to the nonwoven web. 
     
     
         17 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein the film is a non-porous film. 
     
     
         18 . The unit dose product according to  claim 1  wherein the unit dose product comprises a pouch. 
     
     
         19 . The unit dose product according to  claim 18  wherein the pouch comprises a laundry detergent composition. 
     
     
         20 . The unit dose product according to  claim 18  wherein the pouch comprises a dishwashing detergent composition.
