Abstract
A simulation system includes a Response database for storing Response Data in which an output result of a device-under-test (DUT) model for a predetermined test item is set, and a framework for causing the test plan program to operate. The framework determines an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item, which is executed based on the test plan program, based on the Response Data stored in the Response database. That enables a test flow to be verified in an offline simulation environment of the test equipment without loading a pattern program.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A simulation system that verifies activities of a test plan program that is interpreted by test equipment that supplies a test signal to a device-under-test (DUT) and whose one or more test items are executed, comprising:
a Response database for storing Response Data in which an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is set; and a framework for causing said test plan program to operate and determining an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item, which is executed based on said test plan program, based on the Response Data stored in said Response database.
2 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein, for the Response Data stored in said Response database, the output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is set by pass/fail.
3 . The simulation system according to claim 2 , wherein said framework considers the output result of a DUT or a DUT model as pass for a test item, if the output result for said test item is not set in said Response database.
4 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein said framework verifies at least one test route in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
5 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein said framework verifies two or more test routes in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
6 . The simulation system according to claim 5 , wherein said framework verifies all test routes included in said two or more test routes in the sequentially order.
7 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein, for the Response Data stored in said Response database,
an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for each of the test items included in said one test route is set for one or more virtual devices so that each of said virtual devices goes through any one of the test routes in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
8 . The simulation system according to claim 7 , wherein said framework verifies one or more test routes in the sequential order based on said one or more virtual devices.
9 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein said Response database and said framework are included at an operating system (OS) side of the test equipment.
10 . The simulation system according to claim 1 , wherein said Response database loads Response Data from a file when it starts verifying the test plan program.
11 . A simulation method for verifying activities of a test plan program that is interpreted by test equipment that supplies a test signal to a device-under-test (DUT) and whose one or more test items are executed, comprising the steps of:
storing Response Data in which an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is.set, in a Response database; causing said test plan program to operate in a framework; and determining an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item, which is executed based on said test plan program, based on the Response Data stored in said Response database.
12 . The simulation method according to claim 11 , wherein, for the Response Data stored in said Response database, the output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is set by pass/fail.
13 . The simulation method according to claim 12 , wherein said framework considers the output result of a DUT or a DUT model as pass for a test item, if the output result for said test item is not set in said Response database.
14 . The simulation method according to claim 11 , wherein said framework verifies at least one test route in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
15 . The simulation method according to claim 11 , wherein said framework verifies two or more test routes in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
16 . The simulation method according to claim 15 , wherein said framework verifies all test routes included in said two or more test routes in the sequential order.
17 . The simulation method according to claim 11 , wherein, for the Response Data stored in said Response database, an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for each of the test items included in said one test route is set for one or more virtual devices so that each of said virtual devices goes through any one of the test routes in a test flow that is executed by said test plan program.
18 . A computer program product for simulating for verifying activities of a test plan program that is interpreted by test equipment that supplies a test signal to a device-under-test (DUT) and whose one or more test items are executed, wherein said program causes a computer to execute the steps of:
storing Response Data in which an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is set, in a Response database; causing said test plan program to operate in a framework; and determining an output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item, which is executed based on said test plan program, based on the Response Data stored in said Response database.
19 . The computer program product according to claim 18 , wherein, for the Response Data stored in said Response database, the output result of a DUT or a DUT model for a predetermined test item is set by pass/fail.
20 . The computer program product according to claim 19 , wherein said framework considers the output result of a DUT as pass for a test item, if the output result for said test item is not set in said Response database.Cited by (0)
