Abstract
A flexible packaging container of a transparent packaging laminate contains a colored, liquid food product and displays color print directly applied on a front and/or rear display surface. At least selected parts of the color print are a transparent color print which permits transparency for the food product. One or more color shades in the transparent color print are selected so that the visual impression thereof is enhanced or modified in cooperation with the color of the food product.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A flexible packaging container of a transparent packaging laminate containing a colored, liquid food product, the packaging container displaying, on a front and/or rear display surface a color print applied directly thereon, wherein at least selected parts of said color print are a transparent color print which permits transparency for the food product; and a visual impression of at least one color shade in the transparent color print are being enhanced or modified in cooperation with the color of the food product.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value of greater than 3, but at most 13.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transparent color print is a photographic print.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said transparent color print constitutes a background to an artwork or text print which is disposed on the same display surface as the transparent color print.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said transparent color print forms a complete artwork or a part thereof of a complete artwork.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transparent color print is applied at least on the front display surface; and a background, artwork or text print is disposed on the rear display surface so that the background, artwork or text print on the rear display surface clearly appears through both the colored food product, the front display surface and the transparent color print.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said front and/or rear display surface also displays color print directly applied thereon on selected parts and constituting a text and/or artwork, the color print constituting the text and/or artwork affording opacity and including a subjacent white color layer and an upper color layer.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said transparent color print is of the same color as the food product, but of a different shade, whereby the visual impression of the transparent color print is enhanced in cooperation with the color of the food product.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said transparent color print is of a different color than the food product, whereby the visual impression of the transparent color print in cooperation with the color of the food product is modified to a third color.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packaging laminate includes at least one gas barrier layer.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the packaging laminate comprises first and second polymer carrier layers, an interjacent polymer layer disposed between the first and second polymer carrier layers, an outside layer of thermosealable olefin polymer positioned so that the first polymer carrier layer is between the interjacent polymer layer and the outside layer, a first gas barrier layer of SiOx coated on the first polymer carrier layer and a second gas barrier layer of SiOx coated on the second polymer carrier layer, the interjacent polymer layer being of greater thickness in relation to each surrounding layer which is laminated between the two gas barrier coated carrier layers.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packaging container is a flexible bag in portion size with a hole for a drinking straw or an opening arrangement.
. A flexible transparent packaging laminate for packing a colored, liquid food product, the packaging laminate displaying a color print directly applied thereon, wherein at least selected parts of said color print are a transparent color print which permits transparency for the food product.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value greater than 3, but at most 13.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the transparent color print is a photographic print.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein said transparent color print constitutes a background to an artwork- or text print.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein said transparent color print forms a complete artwork or a part of a complete artwork.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the packaging laminate also displays a color print directly applied thereon on selected parts and constituting a text and/or an artwork, the color print constituting the text and/or artwork affording opacity and including a subjacent white color layer as well as an upper color layer.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the packaging laminate includes a gas barrier layer.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 19 , wherein the packaging laminate comprises first and second polymer carrier layers, an interjacent polymer layer disposed between the first and second polymer carrier layers, an outside layer of thermosealable olefin polymer positioned so that the first polymer carrier layer is between the interjacent polymer layer and the outside layer, a first gas barrier layer of SiOx coated on the first polymer carrier layer and a second gas barrier layer of SiOx coated on the second polymer carrier layer, the interjacent polymer layer being of greater thickness in relation to each surrounding layer which is laminated between the two gas barrier coated carrier layers.
. A packaging container manufacturing method comprising producing a packaging container containing a coloured, liquid food product, the packaging container comprising transparent color print of at least one color shade directly applied on at least one display surface of the packaging container so that the transparent colour print permits transparency for the colored food product, with a visual impression of the at least one color shade in the transparent color print being enhanced or modified in cooperation with the color of the food product.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value of greater than 4, but at most 12.
. The packaging container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value of greater than 5, but at most 11.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value greater than 4, but at most 12.
. The packaging laminate as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the transparent color print has an opacity value greater than 5, but at most 11.Cited by (0)
